	The Monmouth Normal Cadet Band pose outdoors on the grass for a protrait by the Mail Building, (now named Campbell Hall.) On the backside is handwritten "ONS Band 1901,  From W.C. Bryant Collection, Donated by Mrs. Elva Bryant '02 June 10, 1933", and a list of names:" Left - C. Lawrence Torence, Billy Bridewell, Frank Lucas - band leader in overcoat, 2nd front Right - F.Y. Mulkey, 5th from Right - Burns [sic?] Barwell[?] /Powell[?], Tuba - Lloyd Mason."

On the backside is handwritten "Normal Cadet Band Monmouth, Or., Return to Normal Cadet Band," and perpendicular is a list of names,"1st Row: 1  Lloyd Mason, 2 [blank], 3 Frank Lucas, 4 [first name illegible, Gd.?] Riddell, 5 Will Riddell, 6 [blank], 2nd Row: 1 Willis Butler, 2 Alen Percival, 3 Robert Bailey, 4 Dell Butler, 5 Crosby Dalton, 6 Burns Powell, 3rd Row: 1 [erased], 2 [blank], 3 Ed Lorence, 4 Bert Russell, 5 Pap Lorence, 6 [blank]." Donated by Mrs. Clares C. Powell.
