	Thomas Gentle, the first Training School director, gave lectures and speeches throughout Oregon to raise money for a statue of Abraham Lincoln to send in the lobby of the Training School (now ITC). The whereabouts of the statue are unknown.

	Interior view of the Assembly Hall inside of Campbell Hall with four rows of chairs facing the small stage.  On the stage is a large statue is on the right side, a lectern in the center and a piano on the ground in the front. Several class gifts are hung on the walls include portraits of T.F Campbell and P.L. Campbell, Washington crossing the Delaware plaster frieze, and the Botticelli reproduction.

Description
	A memorial Cherry Blossom tree was planted for Whitney Bellinghausen after her death in 2008. Bellinghausen was an American Sign Language student who passed away after being severely injured in a car accident in February, 2008. The tree was dedicated in October, 2008 on her 21st birthday, and it is located between Landers Hall and Lot J. 

The image is from the dedication ceremony where the tree is in the middle of the image. Two golden shovels are behind it and were used to plant the tree. To the left of the tree is a statue of a white dog with pink spots wearing a pink hat. In the background Landers Hall and other trees can be seen.

	Nine-foot tall aluminum statue.
Cast aluminum
This sculpture was donated by Dr. Anton Postl (WOU Professor Emeritus), the Western Foundation, the Monmouth-Independence Community Arts Association, and the Oregon Arts Commission. It is located in the garden along the east side of the Natural Science building.
	The sculpture is in the middle of the image. It is gray and tall. Behind it is a tree and the Natural Science building. Other trees and bushes line the outer edges of the photograph.
