Description
	Two mascots stand side by side with the old mascot holding a Western Oregon pennant in front of his face, and the newer mascot holding a golf club in his right hand. The two mascots arms are interlocked with each other.  
Text, "Changing of the Guard. Western has experienced many changes this year.  When we look back, we will be able to say, "We were there when it happened."  We saw progress, and we felt the excitement as we grew closer to a whiplash of electrifying splendor that put a spark back into the otherwise drab town...this community has embraced us as a University."
