Abstract: As coordinator of the WOU Community Internship Program, I had the opportunity to work with WOU students and connect them with accessible academic and career relevant paid internships. Overseeing the program gave me the opportunity to strengthen my leadership skills by equipping interns with the support needed to be successful throughout their internship experience, as well as being a resource for them to grow professionally. I have improved my communication skills and expanded my connections within WOU Departments, which will help me in my future career aspirations.
