Abstract
-
In the modern world, leaders are everywhere. From student leaders, to bosses, to government officials, people hear about, or interact with, leaders often. For this reason, it is important for those in leadership positions to continue to improve their leadership skills, so they can meet the needs of the people they lead. There are many qualities of a good leader, including accountability, a clear vision, and the ability to encourage others. Another quality of a good leader is critical thinking: the ability to think for oneself and encourage followers to think for themselves. I believe that critical thinking is an important skill that many people struggle with. For my project, I will examine several leadership qualities, but I will put more focus on critical thinking. I will also apply what I learn about leadership to my own experiences.
