Description: Carileufu river, now known as Rio Caburgua, is the main above-ground drainage of Lake Caburgua. It usually flows during winter and spring, but dries up in summer as the lake recedes. During dry years, however, the river may not flow. There is also a substantial underground drainage of the lake through an aquifer which comes to the surface a few miles south of the lake at a place called Ojos de Caburgua, a beautiful combination of artisian springs and waterfalls.; Scanned image from slides using the Epson Expression 10000 XL as a tif image (1200 dpi, pixel dimensions- width: 1011, height: 1535) and converted into jpg for access purposes
