Caption reads: "200 Plus 1, Plus 2, Plus 3, Plus 4 . . . -- Celebrating the nation's 201st birthday, Monmouth and Independence chose that for the theme of the annual Forth of July parade. Hundreds of people turned out for the festivities as this photo indicates."

Image is black and white. It shows many people lined up along a street, some sitting, many standing. In the middle of the street, there are four cars in a row driving away from the camera. Behind the cars there is a person on a tractor. In the crosswalk behind the tractor, a person crosses the street.
