Pencil portrait drawing of young Filipino man's face and head, (ink splotch cover part of the forehead). Below is an ink scribble drawing of a rooster with the text: "spur on left only… coup d'etat."
Verso: "Summer 1945."
Maurice explained, the cock fights were put on by the natives. The fight itself lasted less than 2-3 minutes as the roosters would fly at each other. There was a lot of betting and action going on.
