Description
-
Shipboard Drawings - WWII Drawings.
Three pencil sketches of servicemen in varying states of completion. One unfinished sketch of a sitting man; one standing shirtless holding a newspaper; and one man sitting with a towel over his shoulders.
Verso: "October 1944."
Maurice explained that he was standing at the rail with a photo of his fiancée. As he was looking at it, there was a fellow standing beside him who looked over at the photo and said, "Isn't that Bunny Robson?" Yes, it was.
