Marysville, CA - WWII Drawings.
Ink sketches (portraits in profile) of four different people. One is labeled, "Jerry the bartender at the Hotel Marysville," and another is labeled, "Dot."
Maurice explained that Marysville was a staging area for soldiers going overseas, in the Pacific. These sketches were made while waiting to be shipped out.
On the verso is an sketch in profile of man wearing glasses and a uniform cap, with the label, "Captain in the MPs."
