Ink drawing of a water craft labeled, "A motorboat made of P-38 fuel tanks."
Verso: "Spring 1945."
Maurice explained that the P-38 is aircraft with two fuselage (body of plane) with a seat between and one long wing. When an aircraft was no longer repairable it would be stripped for parts that could be reused or repurposed.
